Do you think the company Sierra has mess ...

Ever since Sony, and naughty dog didn't make them it went down hill from there, well accept Universal Studious did a pretty good job of making them. But Sierra turned Crash and Spryo into a fighting game. I got Spyro a new begining for the ps2 thinking I was getting a new Spyro game and I got fighting game, haven't got a sirerra game since that terrible experince. My two questions are. Do you think Sierra messed up Crash and Syproand Will Sony, naughty dog, or universal studious ever bring make another Spryo or Crash game and restore it to its formal gloryDo you think the company Sierra has mess ...
This is the breakdown. All PS1 Spyro and Crash games were great. All PS2 Spyro and Crash games were either average or terrible.The new Crash Mind Over Mutant and the new Spyro Dawn of the Dragon are likely to be bad too ... I don't think that the Spyro/Crash games will ever be the same since most of the original developers left the company. Do you think the company Sierra has mess ...
Yeah, Sierra realized they didn't need Insomniac or Naughty Dog to make money, so instead they just decided to use other developers to make their franchises, needless to say... that hasn't worked so far for them critically.Insomniac is too preoccupied with Resistance and Ratchet nowadays so I doubt we'd see them make a Spyro game and Naughty Dog is also working on some unannounced titles, possibly sequels to Jak and Uncharted.The other problem is that Insomniac and Naughty Dog are partnered with Sony now and since its clear that Sierra wants to make games on all platforms, it further makes it difficult to believe we'll ever see a Spyro or Crash game as good as the PSX games again.
Its pretty hard to mess up garbage.
I used to be a big fan of the PSX Spyro series. After spyro first came onto the PS2 however, i kinda just stopped playing. For some reason it didn't have the same kind of appeal to me as they used to, I'm not sure they ever will.
I remember the old Spyro and crash :)...good times, goooood times.Not that way anymore though.
I don't know about Crash. Never was a Crash fan.But Spyro got raped.
Crash Bandicoot was good until CTR, now Crash is some sort of gangsta' looking bandicoot. If i remember correctly an old PSX mag had him all dressed up in gold chains, nucks and a set of ''grills'' .. It's actually happend. :|Spyro was good up until the one with the skateboard (3rd? 4th?), you could play hockey too on a level i think.:lol: Ironic how both have gone away and made platformers that have surpassed thier old series.

The old series were the best on PS1 back then. But the new Crash and Spyro are terrible every year both series get worse and worse also there's going to be a Spyro film too.
The PS1 games were certainly better than their PS2 counterparts, but there's no denying they provided some great memories.
They certainly haven't been able to make any games as good as the originals. I wish they would, though. I love the characters
The old Spyro and Crash games where great but now they suck.
Spyro and Crash were both amazing games and should have stayed with their respective company's. I loved Crash and Spyro but their dead now and I will have to learn to remember the good times and forget everything bad that's happened since their time as PS1 games.
