what do you think the worst game to transform from snes 2d- ps3 of today 3d ,im going with top gear dare devel not really a transtion of 2d/3d but still is the one to break ones trust with the developer (kemco which has gone silent as far as consoles go since the release of top gear rpm tuning)\another series that went to the tubes .. . . . need for speed since underground thats right , and goldeneye rogue agent definatelly brings another title to the list,, ea actually fooled me on the ds version by claiming it was a remake of goldeneye well this site rather and i should never take gamespots words or words from ign to lightly from that point on )these 3 games are some of the most awful examples of how not to make a franchise succeed, classic franchises stilll around but ain ...

Donkey Kong
Silent Hill is still around, but nothing can beat the original trilogy.Resident Evil turned into an action game for some reason.Mario is doing alright, but there are many bad games there too.Sonic stopped being good right after Sonic Adventure.

Sonic is the obvious choice. Every Sonic game released on something bigger than a CD has been mediocre at best and trash on average.Mortal Kombat is a good one. It shares Sonic's fate except its a lil worse because MK started getting crummy before it jumped to 3D.I'm gonna say Tekken also. I was never a pro at that game but I loved playing it. I remember playing Tekken 2, 3 and Tag Tournament ALOT as a young teen and really just having fun with it. Even when I lost it was fun to play. But I played Tekken 4 and just didn't like it. It wasn't fun for me anymore and I haven't enjoyed one since then. Maybe Tag Tournament spoiled me. That was my favorite because of how hectic it could get.
There are a couple that come to mind such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. Not to mention Donkey Kong because it's so terrible now.

Mortal Kombat's jump into 3D to action adventure sucked. I personally these games went downhill after 2.
