Does anyone else have the problem that the game slows down. For example when I summon knight's of the round the game will slow down. I really notice it when I tried to beat sepheroth and the game slowed down so much that it freezes upon me.Final Fantasy 7 question
Your disc is probably scratched.Try getting it cleaned at a local game store. Final Fantasy 7 question
its either your disc or system
I am using it in my ps3 and the game has no scraches. I have an old ps3 60gb so its not backwards compatibility problems unless sony has not put it on their website.
sometimes the disc is damaged and you can't see scratches, just try getting it cleaned.
Maybe FF7 isnt completely backwards compatible.
Not all games run perfectly.

[/QUOTE]Thats what I think because I had the same problem with all three disk's but the problem started to get worse as the game went on. But I dont know.
I don't thank so but its been awhile since i played it though.
I just beat the game and it slowed down a little bit but I think that was because I beat sephroth quickly instead of slowly. But I still noticed a lag when I summoned Knight's of the round.

Before I sold my PS3 and played FFVII on it I experienced jagged pixels and quirky disoriented sound effects when I played it. However I re-played on my PS2 and it ran perfectly fine, everything looked and souned the way it was suppose to. My guess is that it's the PS3 bro, it could be your disc but if you said it's not scratched, then it has to be your PS3.
I had that same problem! I think its the ps3, when Imported my old Ps1 files 2 the ps3 I played some of em again for nostalgic purposes and I was wandering about it but ended up forgetting about it.

I had slow downs with Chrono Cross on my PS3, and the game would eventually freeze if I didn't stop playing. However, there are no problems when I play it on my PS2.
It keeps freezing 10 mins into the game for me. FFVIII won't load at all.
