Well you know...You are at your friends house you mooch off their console, your friend comes to your house they mooch off your console. Worked out really well during the PS1 era if you and your friend each had a different console (PS1 and N64). I didn't have many friends come to my house because my mom scared them by being so overprotective, but that is another post.
If you let them sit there and play single player games then you are a moron. If they come over and they want to play Vs/co-op games then who cares? If your not very interested in playing games when your friend comes over then you have a couple of options. Dump the console and the friend or tell your friend you will lend him the console for some $$. Then he can play on his own and hopefully he will start spending time with you doing stuff your more interested in...

I dont know how to help you with it. I think the only thing you can do is talk with your friend about. Be like ''hey man I feel like sometimes the only reason you come over is to play my games. I dont mind playing games with you now and then but I have you over so we can hang out and talk about stuff and do other things TOGETHER.''

if they are a real friend then they will understand and will probably apologize or acknowledge it.
I don't know if I would call it mooching unless they would borrow games from you without getting one in return.In the PS1/N64 era, I had a PS1 and my roommate hade an N64. We would play each other's consoles all the time. 4-way 007 matches were always the best.
One of my ''friends'' was like that.He came over alot simply to play Super Smash Brothers Melee back in the day. Fortunatly he moved away.
i don't understand the problem... sounds whiney to me. maybe your friends' parents can't afford to buy him/her a ps3 or a 360 or can't justify buying it because your friend already has like 3 other consoles and never plays any of them. are you tired of your friend? do you have that many to just be like calling them out on something that you speculate? maybe your friend has problems at home and would rather be hanging out with you than dealing with a situation at home. you being all like ''MINE MINE MINE'' would make you very unfriendly.you should suggest... and i know this might be hard to grasp, but that you NOT play games. talk to your friend, find out what the deal is, be supportive.

I don't get it. This guy I'm friends with comes over to my house and plays his PS3. And he doesn't ever offer me to play. Kinda boring I usually fall asleep or play on the computer the whole time. (This is not a joke BTW.)

I think i have it the worst. I have flat mates that play my PS2 all day while i'm at work. everytime i get home i i can tell its still warm so they turn it off just before i get there. sucks big time! none of them go to work, just stay at home all day.
Yeah i had a friend that never had a console. so we would play virtua racing against eachother and we'd play NBA jam either against eachother or together against the computer. We spent SOOOO many hours playing those games, it was rediculous. and after i got a Ps1 i let him borrow my genesis anytime he wanted. oh and I used to totally mooch off my neighbor back in the day. He had a SNES, Sega Master System, NES, and tons of games. this kid was like a few yrs younger than me and was an only child so he was always happy to have somebody come over, and i was happy to be able to play his games LOL.
When the ps1 came out it was like amazing and I loved playing it, i didnt have one, so i used to go to my friends house everyday just to play tekken 3, I felt that he got sick of me...In school, I was like : Hey, Hows the ps1? like really excited...what a loser!
