Star Fox Super Weekend for SNES is the first that comes to mind, it goes for about $300 or so. It's worth it if you're a collector, it's a rare gem to have in a collection. the most ridiculously expensive game/s e ...
$1,200 for the PS2 version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is ridiculous. You could probably buy the actual Arcade PCB for that money. But to contribute to your thread: The European version of Fu'un Super Tag Battle, also known as ''Kizuna Encounter'' for the Neo*Geo AES system goes around the US$10,000 price range, since there's only 10 confirmed copies of the game.

But no, an even rarer game is Tetris on the Mega Drive. It was even showcased in Akihabara.

While probably not thousands of dollars type rare, Mega Man: The Wily Wars is extremely rare and highly sought by collectors. Last I saw on eBay it was going for about $200 or more. Stupid Capcom, why did you have to make it a Sega Channel exclusive in the US? It's one of the best 16 bit Mega Man games ever made, and yet it's almost impossible to experience it without resorting to emulation.

Bad thing about that Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is they make you pay $3.99 shipping on top of the $1500!!! I used to own Marvel Vs. Capcom for the ps1, but I got rid of it, because I didn't think there enough characters to choose from. MvC2 is just perfect. But I did see the xbox version in gamestop the other day for $60, surprising since all the xbox games are dirt cheap right now.

The game is darned rare, darned expensive, and unfortunately, darned good. :(

All of their used games are in mint condition though, that's their positive side.

It is not as expensive as many games listed here but Earthbound copies nowadays are hard to find and cost a lot.
