Need help with the Suffering. **Spoilers ...

I'm in the 19th chapter of the suffering. Am at the end of the level in the lighthouse trying to turn the crank to get the lighthouse going. I cleared the debris away from the crank but it still will not turn. And I have no idea what to do, almost like the game thinks I haven't cleared the debris off of it. But an interesting note the guard there by the lightouse keeps shooting at me and he won't stop and I can't kill him. But from what Iread on some FAQs he's supposed to help you. But I remember running up to this guy and he suddenly started shooting me, so I don't know if maybe the game is glitched or what the deal is, but this sucks I'm so close to the end and can't figure it out..... You haven't cleared all the debris. I know it looks clean, but it's very easy to gloss over. Squint and you'll see what's left of the debris eventually.As for the Officer: The game does have a lot of glitches towards the end (luckily, none of them break the game), that could be the case. But more likely, you probably accidently threw a stick of dynamite at one of the girls and accidently hit him in the process. He's very hard to avoid shooting sometimes, because he always gets in the way. Need help with the Suffering. **Spoilers ...
How much debris is there? I only seen the 3 pieces.
