Okami?? In Greatest Hits Line!?! No Way ...

I don't know if I was dreaming or not. I was at a Best Buy today and guess what I saw? Okami, right there with other titles among Sony's 'Greatest Hits' reissue lineup. Didn't this game sell poorly? up until now, it would not have been an easy find, and the last I saw it at a Gamestop (my local one to boot) it was still fetching $29.99 or something....and that was USED.

Then again, with the PS2 in its late period of waining, the crap economy, and (I'm sure of this by now), having exhausted all the true ''Greatest Hits'' that are out there, they're now dipping back into the backlog of titles and pulling out some 'sleeper hits'.

I didn't see these at the particular store I was at, but I heard and seen of these online too:- Odin Sphere- Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

I'm not complaining....I think it's great that these titles are getting a second shot at a cheaper price point. I just found it suprising, since you'd think, to be in the 'Greatest Hits' line, a title has to sell a certain amount of copies.

If this isn't a dream, and is true, to anyone who hasn't played Okami yet and does NOT have a Wii, do so if you like adventure games. I played, enjoyed, and gave it a little review of my own at this site. I've yet to find something else out there that's close to it for the PS2, but to no avail. Okami?? In Greatest Hits Line!?! No Way ...

probably it reached to greatest hits with wii sales, not ps2 sales alone. still its good news
Yep, picked it up at Best Buy a few weeks ago for $15. It was especially nice since I sold my 3 other new copies for $45 each on eBay the week before :) Bet those people are pissed now.
I just bought the greatest hits version today as a matter of fact. Bought it for $19.99 brand new.
I got the original for $30 new last year... should I be feeling ripped-off or satisfied? :|In any case, the more Greatest Hits games the better in my opinion.
