ps2 to ps bc save issues

i've recently come across two classic games for the ps that i wanted to play again. i bought both castlevania ''symphony'' %26 mdk. i no longer have my ps, so i play these games on my ps2. to cut this a bit short- i can play the games on the ps2, but when i wnt to save, the game doesn't read my memory card and says ''please insert memory card.''thx in advance!ps2 to ps bc save issues

wow! i had no idea! thx so much. (back to amazon for a ps1 memory card....)
Also of note is the fact that you can transfer saves that are on the PS1 memory card to the PS2 memory card through the PS2 browser. That way, you don't have to invest in multiple PS1 cards.

Because as previously mentioned, PS1 games can't save to or read from PS2 memory cards.
is this true for saving ps1 files to the ps2 hard drive as well? i understand that if i want to access them i'll have to put them on a ps1 card, but that's no problem... i just wanna know if i can save them to the hard drive from the card.
