Sonic Mega Collection Plus (PS2)

OK, so I want to buy this so I can play it on my brother's PS3, but I have a few questions:1. Do you have to unlock any of the Sonic's?2. How does saving work? Can you save anywhere? Thanks for the help.Sonic Mega Collection Plus (PS2)
Anyone?Sonic Mega Collection Plus (PS2)
I have it on another console although I wil give you what I know. You can't save anywhere in game I don't believe, although you can unlock some of the Sonic games.
If I recall correctly, you do have to unlock some of the Sonic games, the bulk being the gamegear titles. There are a couple of non-Sonic games thrown in like Flickly and the Ooze. Saves are at the start of new levels, I believe. This is a great collection and the best Sonic games are ready from the start. I would say grab it, if you like Sonic.
You do unlock some games, and you can save anywhere, allowed you have the room for it.
Yeah, you have to unlock a lot of stuff. Sonic 3 %26 Knuckles is counted as a game and it's pointless to play either of them on their own. There are a bunch of other titles (non sonic titles) available but the conditions to unlock them are obnoxous (play X game(s) 50 - 100 times) and annoying. As for the saving i don't remember if you can save anywhere in each game. Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 %26 Knuckles have a save system just like they did on their console versions.
You have to unlock some games (like Sonic 2 and Kunckles,) and you can save anywhere in the ga,e. It's like a savestate on a rom
You can save anywhere you want. You start with Sonics 1(Genesis and game gear versions),2 and 3, Sonic %26 Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine(Genesis and Game Gear versions) Sonic Spinball, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Drift, Sonic Labyrinth and Sonic Blast. You can unlock Blue Sphere, Knuckles in Sonic 2, Sonic 3 %26 Knuckles, Flicky, Ristar, The Ooze and Comix Zone.
Do I have to unlock Sonic 1, 2, 3, or Knuckles? Those are the only ones I want to play.
As mentioned, it is somewhat annoying to play a game 100 times to unlock a game...but you don't have to actually play the game, just enter it from the menu to count as a play. It doesn't take very long.
Can anyone answer my newest post?
