Advance Wars Field Training (GBA)

I just started to replay the first Advance Wars today. I would really like to not have to replay the boring ''field training'' missions at the beginning. I thought there was a way to skip them because Nell asks you at the beginning whether or not you've played the game before and whether you would like to skip the training. I said that I had played before and that I would like to skip the training but then the only play options given to me are field training and the two versus modes. Am I missing something? This is a new copy of the game so there's no previous save file on it - does that make a difference?Any help here would be appreciated. I just don't feel like being bored for a few hours just to get to the good stuff.Advance Wars Field Training (GBA)
