I always liked Wipeout. But the final fantasy games for PS1 are all good.
Sadly i have never played a silent hill game..my first re was #4 and my first ff was ffx



I'd say Gran turismo was one of the good ones.. Ummm crash bandicoot and spryo series were great.

Ummm... I also didnt mind the digimon worlds xD hehehe

I think the most time I spent on a PS1 game would definitely have to be Final Fantasy Tactics. I'd have to say it's my favorite PS1 game followed closely by Final Fantasy VII.
One of my favorite PS1 games to play are Armored Core, Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, Mortal Kombat, and Crash Bandicoot.
Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VII, Xenogears, Tekken 3, Soul Reaver: The Legacy of Cain, Megaman X5, Armored Core, Twisted Metal 2, Ridge Racer Type 4, Resident Evil 2, Gauntlet Legends, Megaman Legends and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.

I would say the best PS1 games would be:The Legacy of Kain: Soul ReaverTomb RaiderDriverGlover (I know but I actually liked this game when I was younger)I'm sure there are many others these are just a few that came to mind.
battle arena toshinden 3 was a great fighting game i noticed nobody mentioned vandal hearts 1 and 2, along with valkyrie profile. 2 excellent rpg's

I liked Crash Bandicoot and Spyro 1 too but I wasn't keen on Gran Turismo apart from 2player split-screen with a friend.
