I had the choice to between Super Turrican and Mega Turrican, so I chose Mega. (downloaded on the Wii's Virtual Console) It's now one of my favourite Genesis games and it's totally unknown/underrated. Here's some others i'd recommend:NES CrystalisMega Man SeriesNinja Gaiden SeriesKid IcarusContraMike Tyson's Punch OutGenesis Mega Turrican Sonic the Hedgehog seriesComics Zone Streets of Rage 2Vectorman

Megaman pwns:P.
If I can recommend anything for the Genesis, it's those Arcade 6-packs, with Golden Axe, Shinobi, Streets of Rage, etc.
Act Raiser and Phantasy Star series
Can't be bothered to list games for both the NES and the Genesis, so I'll mention some Genesis games: Streets of RageStreets of Rage 2 Landstalker GleylancerAlien SoldierM.U.S.H.A. Shining ForceShining Force II Contra: Hard Corps Phantasy Star IV Monster World IV Joe %26 Mac Caveman NinjaCastlevania: BloodlinesRistarNHL '95NBA JamGunstar Heroes Shinobi III Mega Turrican isn't nearly as good as Turrican II on the Amiga. Other games such as Another World, Flashback, Syndicate and Cannon Fodder are also good (but better on the Amiga). Of course there are more games than these worth checking out, but I can't be bothered to write more.
For NES: Ninja Gaiden, SMB and MetroidGenesis: Earthworm Jim, Sonic 2 and NHL 97!!!
Act Raiser and Phantasy Star series
Act Raiser wasnt till snes.
