i'm about to get alot of GBA games (all Donkey Kong Country games) from America but i live in Australia and wondering if they would play on a DS from Aus cause i dont want to sepnd this mmoney and not be able to play them.Gameboy Advance games region coded?
Every gameboy advance game that I bought has a US/Canada only on the box. You should go to nintendo.com and look for an answer.Gameboy Advance games region coded?
I have American NTSC and European PAL GBA games and they all work on my PAL GBA.So NO they are not region locked.
gameboy advance is not locked or need's to be coded.
the gbm isnt region locked and no need to be coded for imports
All GBA games are not region-locked.

NTSC and PAL refer to TV standards. GBAs use their own display standard since they have their own screens to output to, and no GBA or even DS that I know of has TV-out capability (unless someone managed to hack one to do so). Therefore, it would be better to distinguish your handhelds by region and not display types.

Anyway, GBA and perhaps DS games aren't region-locked, so you can use any combination of game and handheld you wish. (However, in the case of the upcoming DSi and its downloadable DSiWare, that will be region-locked. It won't affect normal DS and GBA games, though.)
why does everyone repating each other?
