Hmmm I was actually looking at that eariler... Well you can get it used for alot cheaper but they're not in the best condition. Yeah, that is odd but it's probably hard to find now.OMG? Silent Hill1 for PS is worth near 1 ...
I have that game >.> Maybe I also should put it up for 100$
Probably it's the last copy on earth. :lol:Some people would actually buy it. If they're too thick that is. Mine is all scratched. :( May it rest in peace.
I got mine for like $30, i think. I would never sell it though no matter how much i'd get for it.
Sell it.Silent hill isnt worth 100
thank god i still have it.
I'm from the UK so the price for Silent Hill is nowhere near that high, but its still worth a fair bit over here. It's not rare because there are so many copies of SH. It also went platinum, which again shows how much it must of sold. The reason why the price has risen quickly the last 2 years is because of the demand of the game. You have to realise that the SH film was released recently and was successful. Also SH Origins on psp just came out, and on top of that we have the new SH5 coming out shortly. Also SH2 the film will be out next year or 2010. As you can see there's so much buzz around silent hill at the moment, people are starting to realise if they want to have the full series they should pick SH up now rather than later.
I have yet to see a Silent Hill 1 copy here in Norway so I'd say they're pretty rare now.
Not suprised. Lots of games go up to extreme value when the rare. Even Noahs Ark 3D is about $70 on ebay.

If you aren't using ebay or amazon, then it's like finding gold if you find Silent Hill for the PS1. I finally managed to get it off www.gameseek.co.uk brand new! My sister got it for me last Christmas and it cost something like ?5. I got it with Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Tomb Raider Chronicles and RE3. You should check that site out for PS1 games.
I remember a few years back, where there was like a boat load of Silent Hill copy's for the PS1 all over the place. Not sure if was a back stock or Konami released more copies for a short time, but they were everywhere. Mind you, this was way after Silent Hill came out. Like in 2005-2006. Got my copy right there and than for $10. Brand new and sealed.(well, not anymore at least). Feel bad for you guys in the UK if finding a copy of Silent Hill is hard to find.

I would only give it away after I've completed it and am fully satisfied with time I spend on it. Only then would I think of selling it for a pretty penny. I doubt I'd ever simply give it away. Same goes for alot of my other PS1 games like Alone in the Dark and RE/'s. Hell I have all the PS1 Tomb Raider's so maybe one day they might be worth something good to someone.
No way!
It's not necessarily rare, it's just highly sought after. And it usually finds permanent homes.
Sell it.Silent hill isnt worth 100
A game is worth exactly how much people are willing to pay for it, and I see copies of this game sell for $100 often on E-Bay...Silent Hill is one of my favorite games of all time, and I have been wanting to get this game back for years, but I don't think I'd pay $100 for it...
gameseek is rubbish. their prices are crazy, unless they're selling mostly new/sealed products, but it doesn't say.
