yea it seriously was, my friend had it and when we were like 8 we had no freakin idea of what to do, not because it was confusing but, from what i remember of half my life ago, it just didnt make sense because it was just a grey screen with superman and random buildingsWas SuperMan Really The Worst Game Ever?

Big Riggs wan't even a finished game, I swear. They were half way done, and somehow the disc got to the publisher.
That game is phenomenally bad.But i know a game, thats beyond words, a game that wanted to make me kill my family after 2 minutes of playing.Tibia.

why was it horiible graphics gameplay and i bet u.u didnt know this but e.t had 4 million unsellable copys count that for a bad game.
bottom line superman 64 is like big rigs there just as bad but nothing compared to e.t and dr jekyll and mr hede.
It's the worst game I've ever played and definately the worst game on the N64
If not the worst, it surely is one of the worst console games of all time. Mix some extreme repetition with a horrible technical compartment, irresponsive controls, inconsistent learning curve and difficulty level, boring as well as frustrating time-based missions. Add a generous sprinkle of bad coding on top of all. Bake in a hot oven for a half-hour and serve cold.I had some fun with the ring section for a while, though.
Superman 64 is commonly mentioned as one of the worst games ever along with Big Rigs and ET for the Atari 2600 as previously mentioned.
